Questions, Answered Directly

Straightforward answers about how we treat, what to expect, and who's treating you — no vague marketing language, just what you actually need to know before you call.

About Ayurvedic Treatment
Is Ayurvedic treatment safe?

Yes. Ayurveda has been practiced for thousands of years, and when it's administered by a qualified, registered physician using properly prepared classical formulations, it has a strong safety record. Every treatment plan at Raj Health Care is built after a full diagnosis — nothing is prescribed generically, and that's exactly what keeps it both safe and effective.

Can I take Ayurvedic medicine alongside my current allopathic medication?

In most cases, yes — and it's genuinely our preferred way of treating chronic conditions like diabetes, kidney disorders, and joint pain. We always review your current medications during consultation so nothing conflicts. One firm rule: never stop or change a prescribed medication yourself. That decision stays with the doctor who prescribed it, working alongside us.

How long before I see results?

It depends on the condition. Acute issues like acidity or a minor skin flare-up often ease within a couple of weeks. Long-standing conditions — kidney stones, diabetes, arthritis — genuinely take longer, usually a few months of consistent treatment, because we're correcting the root cause rather than masking a symptom. We'll give you a realistic timeline at your consultation, not an inflated promise.

Are there side effects to Ayurvedic medicines?

Correctly prepared classical formulations, dosed for your specific case, have a strong safety record. But "natural" doesn't automatically mean "risk-free" — which is exactly why we don't recommend self-medicating with random over-the-counter Ayurvedic products. Everything we prescribe is matched to your diagnosis and monitored as treatment progresses.

Do I need to follow a special diet during treatment?

Yes, and it matters more than most patients expect. In Ayurveda, diet isn't a side note — it's part of the treatment itself. We'll give you specific, practical guidance for your condition, not a generic printed list.

What is Panchakarma, and will I need it?

Panchakarma is Ayurveda's classical five-part detoxification process, used to clear deep-seated toxins (Ama) before rebuilding balance. Not every patient needs it — we recommend it only where your specific condition calls for it, and we'll always explain exactly why.

Will Ayurveda help me reduce dialysis or long-term medication?

For some patients, over time, yes — we've supported kidney patients in gradually reducing dialysis frequency and helped others lower their long-term medication reliance, always working jointly with their treating doctor. This is never something to attempt on your own: please don't stop or reduce dialysis or medication without your doctor's direct involvement. We coordinate with your existing care, we don't replace it.

About the Doctor & Clinic
Who will actually be treating me at Raj Health Care?

Every patient is personally consulted by Vaidyaraj Rajesh Kumar, B.Sc., B.A.M.S. (Ayurvedacharya), registered under the Bhartiya Chikitsa Parishad (NCT), Registration No. D.B.C.P./A/6358. With over 25 years of practice, he has personally overseen more than 20,000 cases across our clinics.

Is Raj Health Care a licensed, registered clinic?

Yes. Dr. Rajesh Kumar is formally registered with the Bhartiya Chikitsa Parishad (NCT). The registration number is displayed on our About Us page for anyone who wants to verify it.

What actually happens during a first consultation?

It starts with Nadi Pariksha — a pulse examination done first thing in the morning, before you've eaten — followed by an unhurried conversation about your history, symptoms, and lifestyle. Only once that full picture is clear does Dr. Kumar prescribe a personalised protocol. Nothing here comes off a checklist.

What are your specialities?

Chronic disease management, kidney stones, and kidney disorders are where we've built our deepest expertise over the years, alongside diabetes, obesity, piles, joint pain, skin conditions, and digestive disorders. See the full list, with details on each, on our Treatments page.

Where are your clinics, and what are the timings?

Our clinics are in Azadpur and Punjabi Bagh, Delhi, each with their own weekly timings. Full addresses, maps, and directions are on our Contact page — or just call the helpline and we'll guide you to whichever is closer.

My condition isn't listed on your Treatments page — can you still help?

Very likely, yes. That list covers what we see most often, not everything we treat. Call or message us on WhatsApp and describe what's going on — Dr. Kumar can tell you honestly whether Ayurveda is a good fit for your case before you come in.

Products & Getting Started
Can I buy your products without a consultation?

We'd always recommend a quick consultation first, even just by phone. Our formulations are matched to a specific diagnosis and dosage, not generic wellness products — getting the right one for your case is what makes the difference.

How do I book my first appointment?

Call our helpline, message us on WhatsApp, or fill out the form on our Contact page — whichever's easiest for you. We'll confirm your clinic, timing, and anything you should bring along.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Any recent test reports or prescriptions related to your condition, and a note of your current medications. It helps Dr. Kumar build the fullest possible picture from your very first visit.

Still have a question?

Call or WhatsApp us directly — we'd rather answer it in two minutes than have you wonder about it.
